2010

Founding year

lingoking was born out of necessity: a translation platform that helps overcome language barriers in everyday scenarios as well as emergencies.

2012 & 2013

IT Innovation Award

This innovative, simple and – compared to on-site interpreters – cost-effective solution earned our start-up business the "IT Innovation Award" two years in a row!

2016

Road trip with lingoking

ADAC centres across Germany can book driving licence translations via the ADAC online shop, from where they'll be forwarded to the lingoking platform for translation.

2019

"Magic Mountain"

The platform's purpose is to match clients with translators. The goal of digitalising the translation process is to reduce manual input and integrate larger projects into our system (API).

2021

Live & Work in Germany

Lingoking has been supporting the Federal Employment Agency with translations for employees since 2021. The focus is on certified translations for job applications in Germany.

AI and translations?

AI starts shaping our future even more. As a result, we shift our focus towards "certified translations":
